Dear Marcia: I am considering a on-going donation
program to your organization. This is no scam.
I am in the real estate investment business and would
be interested in doing more for the kids in Haiti.
If I was willing to donate 100% of a certain real
estate transaction to your organization am I able
to:
A: Claim full dollar per dollar donation on my
LLC taxes?
B: Are you willing to provide a link to my site for
donations and verify that I am a donating member
and donating the proceeds of my program to you?
I have been given a contract that would generate
about $250 per month in income per transaction
for 12 months on each contract. So far the total
opportunity is 150 contracts submissions a month.
While I'm not sure I can personally do that much
business myself every month, I am taking steps to
try and there are others that might help.
It would be easier, in my mind, if I knew I was
doing it for a great cause (Haiti Orphans) instead
of just a good cause (My LLC). Please advise.
Note: I am a licensed California real estate loan
agent with millions in transactions and no complaints.
